I cannot express enough the importance of incorporating a healthy, clean diet into your lifestlye. If weight loss is your end goal and you are exercising like a crazy person but not seeing the results you want you can blame your diet. Losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise.
Let me take a minute to say that I do not do ‘fad diets’ or use any ‘weight loss products.’ I purely eat healthy and elimate all the bad, unhealthy habits from my lifestyle. When I talk about a diet I am not referring to a weight loss regime of restricting your food intake or counting macros but sinply what you are putting into your body on a daily basis.
Right before I got pregnant I had started my transition to a healthy lifestyle by doing resistance training twice a week and clean eating daily. I elimimated all simple carbohdrates from my diet and substituted them with complex carbs which I quickly became accustomed too and ended up enjoying more than simple carbs. I also elimated as much sugar from my diet, with the exception of natural sugar from fruit.
By simply eating healthier and exercising for 30 mins twice weekly I lost 10 lbs in 8 weeks! I gained so much energy and a happier outlook on life in general, so it really helped me so much inside and out.
If you want to feel and look better all you need to do is fuel your body with better nutritious food that will keep you full longer and not eat empty calories (foods that are high in calorie but have no nutritional value and do nothing for your body but store bad fats).
